Driven to be the love I wish to see in the world, my recipe for success lies in my passion for unifying valuable voices and narratives into a collective culinary experience with a modern, intentional approach to food, through art.
Growing up, I wanted to be anything and everything. I’ve always been an artist -- my first mural (a la Crayola) was my mother’s wall when I was 4) -- but my dreams didn’t stop there: I also dreamt of a career as a dancer, a singer, a costume designer, a makeup artist… the list goes on and on.
I was passionate about finding a career I loved, in fact, that I tried many more than the average person. A few of my previous roles include Tattoo Artist, Jewelry Model, Ben & Jerry’s Employee, Commissioned Fine Art Painter, Accounting Receptionist, and Local Cheese Saleswoman. However, while I loved certain elements of all of those jobs, none of them felt like the right fit. I wanted something that would allow me to regularly tap into my creativity, support my local community, and foster connections with like-minded individuals and businesses.
So, I combined my love of art with my love of food and forged my own path to create a career that encompasses everything I’m inspired by, and much more.
To me, food styling, photography, and recipe development aren’t simply a means to create a visual identity for artisans, brands, or restaurants. And they’re definitely not just what I do for a living. They are part of my personal calling, and I could not imagine a better way to make a difference, collaborating with what I have to offer.
