Can you hear the grills a sizzling??
Summer is just around the corner and I am stoked to share this recipe in partnership with Feedfeed and Finlandia Imported Cheese in honor of their cheese slices!
Pictured is the making of Smoky, Chipotle Sweet Potato Burgers with Gouda Finlandia Premium Imported Cheese Slices. They are gently sweet, plenty smoky, has body, and is most certainly cheesy!
Sandwiched between buns, a chipotle mayo and corn relish, this recipe excites meat-eaters and vegetarians alike!
Though, what makes the recipe particularly special is the cheese that is imported exclusively from Finland. It is crafted from the purest milk, thanks to small family-owned farms in Finland with over 100 years of the highest quality craftsmanship. There are only 43 cows per farm and each one is called by name and treated to the greenest grass, breathing the pure air of Finland (AKA one of the cleanest countries on Earth)! The result is the purest milk in the world with nothing artificial and absolutely no added hormones, which translates to remarkable, mouthwatering flavors in every bite!

1 cup cooked white beans (great northern)
-
1 cup cooked quinoa (rice works as well!)
-
1/2 cup almond flour

1/2 cup flax meal
-
1 tbs chipotle powder
-
1 tbs smoked paprika powder
-
1-2 tsp sea salt

1 tsp black pepper

In a large mixing bowl, remove the skin from the sweet potatoes, then add the white beans and mash.
-
Add in remaining ingredients and mix until just combined.
-
Portion into 1/2 cup balls and shape into patties.
-
Next, grill 2-3 mins per side, then set aside on a tray, and layer a slice of Cheddar-Gruyere Finlandia Imported Cheese to allow to melt on top.
-
Place each cheese burger onto buns and layer to preference. (It pairs fabulously with chipotle mayo and corn relish!)

Last, but certainly not least, ENJOY!
