BRB gone bananas! Just kidding! In all seriousness, this Nutty Banana Smoothie is more like dessert since it’s delightfully creamy and luscious! Though there are more nutritious smoothies out there, this one is for pure taste-bud enjoyment but without the refined-sugars! If you’re craving a little something sweet with a boost of natural energy, this beverage is for you!
Nutty Banana Smoothie
TIME: 5 MINS
YIELDS: 2-3 SMOOTHIES
Ingredients:
- 2 bananas
- 1 cup frozen cauliflower
- 1/4 cup almond butter (or peanut butter)
- 1.5 cups coconut milk (or plant based milk of preference)
- 2 Tbs maple syrup (or soaked, pitted dates for extra fiber, potassium and magnesium!)
- (Optional garnish) chopped nuts
Method for Nutty Banana Smoothie:
- Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender and process until smooth and consistent.
- Enjoy!
Notes:
- I own a Vitamix which has s a “smoothie” setting, however, any high-speed blender will do with the right amount of patience haha!
