I developed this Papaya Avocado Banana Smoothie when I had a sore throat and let me tell you, this recipe felt like a life saver! It soothed, comforted and nourished my body! And quite frankly, it was the one thing that held me through. Ever since my recovery I am thankful for this recipe and I make it even when I’m not sick haha! Because as the saying goes, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure!
What makes this recipe so fantastic is how simple it is to create. You can buy everything frozen or you can shop for fresh produce and dice it up yourself. All you have to do is add everything to a high speed blender and process until smooth. Easy! That said, scroll down to try for yourself!

Soothing Papaya Avocado Banana Smoothie

  • 3 cups papaya chunks (about 1 small papaya)
  • 1 cup frozen mango chunks
  • 1/2 cup frozen avocado
  • 1 banana
  • 3 dates, pitted
  • 2 cups coconut water (more or less for preferred consistency)

  1. Place all ingredients into a high speed blender and process until silky smooth.
  2. Transfer to glasses and enjoy!

  • I own a Vitamix which has s a “smoothie” setting, however, any high-speed blender will do with the right amount of patience haha!

  • Enjoy smoothies as soon as possible for optimal nutrients, however, you can transfer to an airtight jar or container for up to one day.
